Milk Kefir & Pomegranate Smoothie
We often get asked about how to drink milk kefir. Whilst we, and many of our customers, enjoy milk kefir just as it is, you can also mix it with fruits to make delicious and gut healthy blends. This week we made a pomegranate and milk kefir smoothie: Juice a whole pomegranate in a blender and sieve it to remove the seed granules*. Stir this into a cup of milk kefir and sweeten to taste with honey (for us it was about a teaspoon).
*You can also leave the seed granules in the smoothie if you are accustomed to the texture. Or use them with soap for a great, natural, body scrub!
